Quinney's Pet Supplies was established in October 2016 by

husband and wife Brian and Michelle Quinney.

​

The business was born out of Brian and Michelle's love of

animals. Over the years they have owned a large variety of

dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, tortoises, doves, budgies, finches, canaries, racing pigeons, cold water and tropical fish etc.

​

Michelle has shown lionhead and angora rabbits all over 

the UK having won many honours as well as run a very

successful breeding programme.

They are proud owners of Teddy, a handsome toy poodle who loves meeting customers and their dogs! They also own Holly, a ragdoll cat which has won best of breed at a number of cat shows and achieved the title of Imperial Grand Champion. She also featured in a recent TV commercial for a leading pet insurance company.

Brian and Michelle are life fellows of the RSPB and Brian is

a former leader of the Chesterfield RSPB Members' Group

having been passionate about birds from an early age. He

has presented talks about birds and nature conservation to local schools and societies and enjoys passing on his

knowledge, help and advice to customers; whether it be

how to attract birds to your garden, the type of food to put

out, what feeders to use, bird identification or simply where

to position a nest box.
